Logistics Response Team Training (LRT), 20-27 November 2022, Brindisi, Italy
The Logistics Response Team (LRT) training aims to develop and strengthen the emergency response management knowledge and capacities of logistics officers and those in supporting functions. The objective of the training is to prepare and enable skilled logisticians, and those in supporting functions, who can be deployed to provide immediate operational logistics surge capacity and assume an initial coordination role during the onset of an emergency. This LRT specifically will pilot the integration of medical logistics considerations into the operationalisation of a Logistics Cluster operation at the onset of an emergency. As such, this training is geared towards those partners already engaged in medical logistics.
