・Healthy Life Course: Useful knowledge about how to live a healthy life, and how to provide supportive care to the elderly in need at home and within the community.
Each programme offers three types of courses, as illustrated in the chart below. Further, as the use of the Automated External Defibrillator was recognised in Japan in July 2004, the JRCS started a course for AED within Basic First Aid course. Besides offering safety courses to the general public, the JRCS also issues textbooks and booklets for each course. In addition, those who obtain drivers’ licenses are required to take first aid courses, and the JRCS provides first-aid demonstrations to driving instructors in accordance with the law. Upon request by the authorities, the JRCS also runs first-aid courses for elementary and secondary school teachers.

The JRCS developed Home Nursing Course into Healthy Life Course and implementing it since April 2009.
